Is Fish Safe NS a government organization?
No, Fish Safe NS is a membership funded non-profit safety association dedicated to increasing the
safety culture in the Nova Scotia Seafood Industry.
How do I become a member of Fish Safe NS?
There are two ways to be a member of Fish Safe NS. Our Regular Members are those that belong to
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) groups 311, 312, 321, 1021 meaning their company has an active Workers Compensation account.
The other way to be a part of Fish Safe NS is by becoming an Associate Member, if you or your company
is interested in becoming an Associate Member click here.
What benefits does Fish Safe NS have for the NS Seafood Industry?
Lots! Fish Safe NS is a dedicated safety resource for our members. Fish Safe NS collaborates, educates
and promotes health and safety for all workplaces in the NS Seafood Industry. For our members we have
